During July the Joint Tourism Promotion Fund noted for his participation in important meetings of the tourism industry meetings and activities designed to encourage the screening of the CDMX not only as a business destination but also leisure.

 

 

FMPT strengthens ties with the new president of MPI Mexico

Julio Cesar Castaneda was officially named president of Meetings Professionals International (MPI) Chapter Mexico. During a ceremony held during the first week of last July, the new president took time to present its work plan which highlights, training facilities and boost certifications, networking, educational breakfast, innovation as main focus of upcoming events, as well as work on attracting new partners.

 

The event special guests gathered and strategic partners such as the Joint Tourism Promotion Fund, who took the opportunity to extend his congratulations to the new inmate and his renewed Steering Committee, and reinforce the commitment to remain as allies to continue growing together in occurred tourism industry meetings.

 

 

 

 

 

CDMX protagonist of the World Meetings Forum

The major players in the tourism industry Meetings gathered in the city of Monterrey were given to celebrate the fourth edition of the World Meetings Forum. During a day of three days, lectures by the best leaders, networking and business appointments were the main axes professionals and students participated which, in all cases able to obtain the best ideas and tools for the development of events.

 

Among the activities led by the WTPF and CDMX highlights the presentation of “The four commitments of a winning team” by former basketball player Mark Eaton and performing dynamic “Vive la CDMX” which invited participants to take a picture with the commemorative armed column of CDMX, then share it on Facebook. The photo with the highest number of shares would be the winner of a GoPro camera to fully enjoy the experience of touring the city.

 

During the closing ceremony, Rafael Hernandez, CEO of Latinamerica Meetings & Trade Shows Latinamerica, who is also the organizer of this event, took the opportunity to mention the CDMX as the headquarters of the fifth edition of the World Forum in 2017. Meetings regard Armando Lopez Cardenas, director General of the Joint Tourism Promotion Fund welcomed the recognition of the capital to host this event, highlighting the continued development that CDMX has achieved in terms of attracting major events, taking into account that the city has managed to run for hosted several international events until 2023.

 

 

 

 

 

FMPT present at the XXIII edition of the National Congress of Tourism Meetings & Advisory

Another top industry events is the annual meeting realization of the National Tourism Conference & Advisory Meeting organized by MPI Mexico which this time took place on 3, 4 and 5 August in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo.

 

The meeting convenes industry leaders in Mexico as enclosures, hotels, suppliers and event organizers in order to encourage the competitiveness of domestic deals in international markets, was pleased to present the inauguration of the Committee on Industry Tourism Meeting, composed of the presidents of the 11 industry associations in Mexico.

 

In this context, the WTPF advantage to publicize the attractions the city has through a dynamic for attendees, in which the winner would earn it an unforgettable experience in the bowels of the capital. Note that this activity was made possible thanks to the support of Marquis Reforma Hotel and Grand Hotel Krystal. The winner was Jaime Muñoz dynamic to approach the actual amount of balls inside the balloon CDMX.
