MIDE, eclectic place for events

Mexico City is recognized worldwide for being power in quantity and variety of museums. From a purely artistic themes, to a look at portraits of history or exhibitions of avant-garde type, each city museum houses a world of stories to tell, teach new things and even receive between spaces holding major conferences and social events cultural.

Is this the case of the Interactive Museum of Economics, located in the heart of the Historic Center, which is part of the architectural jewels that still remain within a city that is conciliatory between colonial styles and trends of modernity.

Declared Cultural Heritage, MIDE is housed in the former Convent of Betlemitas owned by the Bank of Mexico, under architectural motifs of the eighteenth century. With an experience of 10 years in the exhibition of economic issues, brings together the most complete gallery on financial issues, social processes, sustainable development and their respective impact on the economy both inside and outside the country.

Because of its interactive dynamics to address issues of economy, it represents one of the most complete museums to fulfill not only the function of display, but also to teach and raise awareness about the importance of the role of economics in all areas of social life . Another of its main added value lies in the number of spaces with which account for conducting any event, in which there is also the possibility to take a look at the museum.

 

 

                               

 

 

The Main Patio, and 4 meeting rooms equipped with everything needed for conferences and presentations are part of the supply of services the museum offers, without neglecting availability is the same if you want to perform are temporary exhibitions , cocktails or large family events.

In boardrooms I, II and V can be gather from 12-40 people; while the Multipurpose Room with its own projection equipment, can accommodate 80 people. Meanwhile, the Main Patio is available to accommodate 500 to 650 people in banquet events accompanied and / or cocktails and 800 people, being a standing audience.

It is noteworthy that whatever the theme of the meeting, the museum provides complementary services such as: stand, pavilion, retractable roof, wireless microphones, the source deck and 16 mobile screens.

The site also has service restaurant and souvenir shop. In The Bistro Club, executive services and a la carte menu are offered; while your store is distinguished by the sale of exclusive jewelry designs and talavera.
