Unique Experiences held in Inbursa Aquarium
23 meters underground, over 14,000 fish species and about 300 unique marine species can be appreciated, among which stand out jellyfish, starfish, turtles, sharks and crocodiles, in replicas of mangroves and lagoons, which is only an extract of the wonders that the visitor can appreciate when taking on the adventure of walking through the Inbursa Aquarium and be surprised with its 48 aquatic sceneries.
Classified as the largest Aquarium in Mexico, and the only one of its kind in Latin America, this place works as a place for species conservations and as an extraordinary place to carry out events in which all walls are made up of huge fish tanks. Under this concept, the aquarium is meant to be more than a place for exhibition and entertainment in the work of making the visitor more aware of the importance of the care and conservation of ocean life.
In this sense, the theme structure of the precinct was drawn up based on the edutainment that puts together the words education and entertainment, an idea that not only invites to know the marine world, but also to live it closely, and for this purpose there is a section in which visitors had the opportunity to feed and touch some of these species.
Besides the guided tours, this place has augmented reality through mobile applications to improve the experience of observing the different species during the tour. As part of its novelties, las Wednesday of every month is the Museum Night, in which we present every time a different activity such as theater plays, live music and yoga sessions and, for a limited time, the majestic mermaid shows. The aquarium has a capacity for up to 5,000 visitors a day.
Inside a 3,500 square meter space, the museum offers facilities for private events such as: press conferences, cocktails, presentations, conferences, corporate dinners, anniversaries, fashion shows or filming locations. For corporate or private tours, the group must be made up of at least 50 people, for which the museum offers free use of all of its screens, security and cleaning personnel, and a guide for every 40 people, as well as supports for the logistics of the event.
