Mexico celebrates Tianguis Turístico at Guadalajara

On your marks, get set, go… the 41ºedition of the main tourism promotion event in Mexico has alredy started, the Tianguis Turístico, a forum that’s being celebrated at Jalisco’s capital, Guadalajara City from April 25th to April 28th.

Expo Guadalaja is the venue that is hosting this showcase that will recibe during the next four days more that 20,000 buyers from 75 countries; 3,000 exhibitors that will use this platform to do business, networking, generate new leads and mostly promote their tourism destination, products and services. The organizers stimate that more than 32,000 business appointments will be developing as well as 551 business suites as part of the program.

Conferences, presentations, workshops, and launches will also be developed at Tianguis Turistico, so every buyer can learn more about the Mexican tourism offer: culture, beaches, luxury, adventure, business and meetings.

Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto and the Tourism Prime Minister, Enrique de la Madrid were at the opening of Tianguis Turistico, an event organized by the Mexican Tourism Board and the Tourism Ministry.

Finally we must mention that Tianguis Turistico’s celebration will represent for Guadalajara incomes stimated in 200 million pesos (more than 11.4 million USD); and it was also annonced that Acapulco will host the 2017 edition.
